When a user is unable to enroll in a workshop, we need to locate the event and navigate to the details page to verify the following:
1. User has not completed it in the past. The request option will not be available for users who already completed the workshop in the past, please check their transcript to confirm. Example: If a user completed a Roving Umpire workshop in the past, they will not be able to register for another Roving Umpire workshop.
2. The registration period is open. If registration is not open yet, please let the user know the date that it will be open. If the registration is closed, let them know that the registration period has closed, and they are no longer accepting enrollments. We can advise them to explore other workshops or to contact the USTA Officiating Team (officiating@usta.com) if they have any questions.
3. There are available seats remaining. If there are no seats remaining but the registration is still open, kindly let the user know they can join the waitlist and will be notified if a spot becomes available. They will be notified no later than 1 week prior to the workshop date.
4. User completed prerequisite course(s) if there is a prerequisite. If they have not completed the prerequisite course, please let the user know and provide navigational instructions to assist the user with locating and launching the course. If they have any concerns or questions about the required prerequisites, please direct them to contact the USTA Officiating Team (officiating@usta.com) for further assistance.
IMPORTANT! Center of Excellence (COE) Workshops have more requirements/prerequisites. If the user reports they are unable to enroll in the COE Workshops sessions or request them, please refer to the ILT | Center of Excellence Workshop SR. |
